Yeesh, yes, this is exactly what I would have been doing when I was scum. Sorry, but a last-minute no-lynch-forcing isn't exactly a town thing to do in my book, especially when combined with a less than stellar performance last day. Yes, you might hold a powerful town role and therefore prefer to survive. However, there might be more sensible ways of achieving the target of not getting lynched. Thing is, if you are scum - which I'll presume as you have been rather scummy yesterday - you just wasted one town lynch. And I'll think you are scum until you provide me with a compelling reasoning why you are town and why you pulled this kind of stuff. What's being spread around now is WIFOM. You say "I have a good reason for this but I can't tell you, so trust me"? Well, I can't.

Sidenote: Townies dislike dying at day one, but the hunt is ALL that they must deem important.  If you're about to die, disrupting it will just cause more confusion and argument Day 2 while still robbing us of one of our chances to lynch.  Instead, the BETTER option is to actually attack who you feel is scum, force the scum to leave scumtells, then allow the town to use your newly town-minted words to go after your target.

You claim you wanted to go after me, but you make no mention of it.  As such, I doubt you thought at all about voting for me and just want your current vote to look better than an OMGUS.

You are wrong. dakarian essentially summed the reasons up, but by holding up town, you a) achieve an even number of players, which is always worse as it comes to mylo instead of lylo, b) you spread a shitload of WIFOM and c) a townie needs to take one for the town, and look forward to the opportunity where he gets confirmed post-mortem. Cheeetar is afraid to die as he would just flip scum.

Scumteam Cheetar/ToonyMan/MagmaDeath, if the triangle of holding together is any indication. In fact, ToonyMan, you give Cheetar a rather unyielding support. Not a good idea. I made the same mistake in BM8.
