Dwarf Fortress are amongst the game I've pressed most time out of, beneath WoW (Slaved for like 3 years) and RuneScape (Back when Goatse was shockingly new), and probably on height with Warcraft III, maybe higher

I've gotten so many hours out of this game, I've tried to find other games who focuses on just one of the many things DF "masters" (Lackluster when you read about 1.0, compared to everything else it's Godlike), but they're few.

Hell yes I will.  I think I can spare $20.  I'm supporting 2 households and I only work part-time but I've been meaning to put money down for this game anyways.  I work a late night shift in a server room watching systems that rarely go down and Dwarf Fortress has helped keep me reasonably sane these last few months.
