I tried searching for a funny screenshot thread or something of that nature, but the only one I could find was about a year old with 2 replies. Sooo, lets try again.

Any screenshots of Dwarf Fortress that you find hilarious, please go ahead and post 'em. I shall start us off with something I found just now. I would have more, but I cleared my picture album about a week ago.

I had an image of the meeting at my old fort with my adventurer and the zombie superchampion who slaughtered most of the 200 residents (thought I'd have some FUN with dwarf companion). Can't find it though

He listed every single kill when we met. It was insane. And did I mention he still had a +steel pick+ embedded in his skull from the short fight between him and one of my legendary miners?

Read the title of the engraving and associate it with a pool of booze.

My favorite engraving in my current fort. I'm using Dig Deeper atm, its supposed to add quite a few new engravings if I remember what I read correctly.

Elf-hating might be modded, but otherwise those just look like any engraving with the init set to show history.

Their random names are both funny.

I got bored and captured 5 Dark Elves from the digging deeper mod. So, I was like, "Sure, lets make a zoo!" I was under the impression pit + grates = exhibit. I dug a channel and threw 5 elves down and sure enough it scared the shit out of everyone walking by. One of these happened to be a tamed Giant bat who decided to take things into its own claws and, literally, flew up a hole in the ceiling, then flew down into the cage and tore all those elves a new asshole. I enjoyed it.

This occurred when I was building the rooms for my nobles, shortly after the first mayor was elected.

I laughed at first because I thought the engravings were by the same Kadol. Would be much funnier if they were.

They are. Koganlaltur is dwarfspeak for "Boatscovers". For some reason, last names in engravings are always told in English.
