I was just about to say.

ED is going to tank, is my prediction. I've decided not to go on it to prepare myself and I've found it disappointingly easy.

Her philosophy was basically that everyone could take care of themselves and only trade voluntarily. Great theory, but not likely in this reality.

My only real problem with capitalism is that neoclassical economics assumes everyone has perfect information. If we knew what all the banks were doing before this nice big recession hit, it never would have happened.

That's the thing about a lot of "pure" economic/governmental theories. They tend to assume too much about the world and people. Yeah, Objectivist-style capitalism would work if people both rich and poor were perfectly informed, and if the world properly rewarded those who do good... but then again, "do good" in Objectivist terms is purely egotistical anyway.

If ED goes down, all the hilarious stuff on Chris Chan will vanish.  :'( That man has gotten me through high school just on the stuff he did.
