Unconscious Champion
« on: February 02, 2010, 12:21:55 pm »

I've got an unconscious champion lying in the middle of my hall, but he's not injured or sleeping.  Does anyone have an explanation?  I keep getting "Rovod cancels "Drink":  Unconscious." Warnings

Are you absolutely certain he hasn't been injured?

Certain types of injuries won't prevent a dwarf from working, but they'll cause enough pain to make the dwarf frequently pass out. One such injury is blindness, and it's rather common among dwarves that engage in melee combat with wild animals.

P.S. If you don't get this note, let me know and I'll write you another.
It's amazing how dwarves can make a stack of bones completely waterproof and magmaproof.
It's amazing how they can make an entire floodgate out of the bones of 2 cats.

Maybe you have to scroll down in his wounds list. He might be severely injured for all we know.

By any chance, are there any of following on your map:
Cave Spiders, Giant Cave Spiders, Giant Scorpions, Snakemen, or Phantom Spiders?

Because if there is, he might have been bitten or stung by one of them.
