"Stargrasper" starts and occasionally becomes pretty much silent.  I think it sounds dark.  Generally getting darker over time.

Also, being a musician and a programmer, I think algorithmic music is awesome!

Pringles.   It actually sounds like a bell choir until about 180 ticks.

I may have to try to get a hold of the coder to mine him for tips.
Here is his profile, you can PM him or send him an email.

Thanks, I may just do that.

ETA: 'Language in Gossamer Questions' is a really nifty SciFi-esque tune. It actually sounds like something legitimately composed for a sci-fi game of some type...

On MkIIIb, "Vertigon" sounds pretty awesome, as well as "Disk". Neat find, OP :D

Now if only we could merge this with electric sheep.

Some form of online voting system would be fun.

Hey, I've been trying this out for a while without great results.
However,
Othello
on the new version is very interesting, the entire song is almost silent. In fact, the top line never plays a single note :P

Hi guys, someone asked me to make the source code available.
If you're interested, you'll find it linked at http://www.wikihost.org/w/doodleblog/dunc_s_algomusic

I've found that AlgoMusic isn't smart with its balance of notes and rests. It tends to fill up every beat with a note rather than make interesting patterns. If I had to update it with one change, that's what I'd fix.

I'll plug http://www.onelifeleft.com/ again too, since I'm still using AlgoMusic to make the bed music for my irregular feature :)
