Chaoticag on version 5.6 is pretty cool. Not so much on the other one. This will keep me entertained.

I rather like this program, even if most of the music is pretty meh. I was always fond of computer generated music in theory.

Some seeds of mine: (v5.6)

"Bloodyboulga" is quite well composed and has a nice rhythm. I just realised that after listening to it for over ten minutes.

V56:

Breath of Final Dragoon Trigger 4 is mindblowing for about 80 ticks and then peters out.

I found "Trebuchet" rather nice, on .56.

Edit: Also, just tried to enter "Negotiations", but instead made "Negotioations", which is several orders of magnitude better, and less cacophonic.

I think some of the samples are better taken out. Do you know if it's safe to remove them? Because the beginning of "Negotioations" is ruined with extreme prejudice by these reverbing space-y sounds. Thankfully, they don't last long.

(5.6)
"Press any key" seems almost acceptable...
(as a low quality background track in some ancient RPG game from before good quality sound existed, and in a game that had very little budget for music)

Edit: That is, hearing it at tick ~3500, I already forgot if it starts with a diffrent feel to it, though I think it has been consistant...

V5.6 will use whatever .wav samples it finds in the /music folder, so you can remove or add samples. Removing an unwanted sample might effect which other samples are loaded in a particular song, though. So you might like to substitute in a different sample with the same name!

I made a typo and typed "Press nay key". It sounds pretty good actually !

Also, the program gave me "Robotic Earth", which name is quite appropriate, I think (still v. 5.6)

"Kagus" sounds like something out of Ultima Underworld...

EDIT:  Try "Happy Happy Funshine".   It sounds like some old haunted house theme or something.

This is VERY similar to the type of algorithmically generated music I'd like Cult to compose.

I may have to try to get a hold of the coder to mine him for tips.

Edit: 'Cult' is actually pretty interesting, although after the first few sections it lapses into a really long/weird empty sounding section. The beginning is quite badass, though.

Hehe, this is awesome.

I tried out a lot of famous songs (Stairway to Heaven, Bohemian Rhapsody, Imagine, etc) and none of them fit!
