Seriously, Leafsnail.  You think that Solifuge actually PLANNED on mistaking who died to try to make us think that she didn't do anything about it?  That's sort of broken logic there.

You can seriously see "Hey scumbuddy, I'm going to say that the person we killed is the one I suspect.  That'll really throw off suspicion off of me"?

Yes to the first.  No to the second.  I see it as an attempt to imply towniness through ignorance.  I have certainly seen examples of this on irc, the most common of which occurs when someone flips "mutilated corpse" and the scum is always the first to ask "What the hell is that!?".  Same goes for a daykill (especially an oddly timed one), poisonings and incinerations.  Scum attempting to avoid suspicion through apparent ignorance is common.

For the Jim thing, thanks for the quote, or I'd not have caught that post. As much as I'd like to say I am crafty enough to meta-suggest innocence by "suspecting" the night-killed player, yesterday messed up the normal day-night pattern for me, and I was being a dolt.

...perhaps I am not the incredibly clever player that some people (read: I) might believe me to be.

Anyway, I don't like that Webadict and Mr.Person have lept to my defense (in however a tangential way as it is). My first instinct would be to add a tally to their scumtells. However, on further analysis, neither Dakarian nor Leafsnail thought to accuse them of defending another player, which lends itself to the theory that they could be analyzing the situation from a scum perspective.

On this note, Dak; slapping on the Tunnel-Vision Goggles and making a beeline for my head, in the face of arguments and your other suspicions, while also maintaining a safe "distance" from those suspicions smells more than a bit scummy, on top of this.

I've made exactly two posts against you, an initial attack and one response to your arguments. 


I make ONE attack on you and  I'm 'looking bad'.  I make two posts about you and now I'm tunnel visioning.


As for the rest, it really can be summed up as, "Dakarian is scummy because he questioning me, and he's even more scummy because he's not doing something else instead." 

If you find those two scummy for acting, then go accuse them.  I'm not your lackey after all. 

Also your softball attacks look horrible.  If I'm scum vote for me and declare exactly what makes me scum.  If I'm not then stop just trying to make me look bad to save your own skin.  Right now all you seem to care about is not getting lynched.

Which fits with D1 very well since the moment everyone let you go you active lurked, but now that the pressure is on you out come the..well.. softballs.

Lastly, the "I don't like people defending me" doesn't exactly work well since you didn't go after me at all D1 and D2 when I stood up and defended your odd actions right in the middle of RVS.

On what grounds is it scummy?  It's not illogical what Soli said there, but the gut screams it was just looking for some excuse to explain it, rather than it being the reason.  Aka "I need some excuse for getting him killed.. that'll do."

Though you are nigh-impossible for me to read, if I had an inkling of a notion, it's that while voting Dakarian, you are also simultaneously testing me, which means that you ARE actually hunting and not just giving the impression of it.

Its enough to show that our goals and interests are coalligned, at least for the time being. Simiilarly I didn't put a FoS on Leafsnail, as a similar impression was garnered.


Dakarian, what happens in RVS stays in RVS. Meaning everyone is trying different methods to get a read on people. Your "defending my strange actions" carries about as much weight as the rapidly switching votes of anyone who plays along with the RVS. At any rate, it wasn't the posts directed against me that were tunnel-sighted, but the mindset you held thereafter:
