Usually modkills only end the day when they're rulebreaks.

Can't say I'm shocked to find out Neruz is town, but at least the WIFOM is out of the way.

By definition that makes you a fan since you still buy them.

Usually it's for rulebreaks, particularly if they were meant to give the town an extra lynch.

Well, with that out of the way, we can turn to Solifuge's behavior.

Depends on the host and the game.  Some hosts set it to not end.  Some hosts set it to end.

Purely up to you and how the game would best work.
Trying to end the Day prematurely, eh?

Hey Solifuge

Hi there, care to answer a few questions?

Now, I let you be with that silliness early D1 and that's fine.  However, why were you active lurking the REST of the day, going on about Neruz's vote restriction but not really looking at who was scum?

Meanwhile, D2 you babbled about what roles there maybe and how there might be a protector (or perhaps no scum) then went on to plop a 3rd vote and lynched off Cheeetar?

You didn't question Cheeetar D1 or make any mentions about him.  You didn't seem to care for much beyond joining that bandwagon, even when you were stretching the 'no talking' rule to actually say something.

So.. what happened both days and did my old 3rd vote scumtell catch you when you felt yourself free enough to do whatever you want during 'no talky time'?

Dak, I know you're quite aware of my playstyle, and you aren't an imperceptive player. Thus you know that this is quite regular for me; I'm rarely an active player until mid game.

"Babbling" is an interesting way to spin "making an observation". I might advise you douse the torch and leave the pitchfork back in the barn, as it's making you look bad. Cheetar was legitimately suspicious, after buddying with Neruz on D1 (as you conveniently seem to have ignored), and did nothing to change or address it other than give a flimsy meta-argument. Moreover, we had NOTHING to go on that day, since there was no ability to talk. Your reliance on a mystical 3rd Vote to decide who is scum is utter bull, and I find the notion highly entertaining, coming from someone who is normally a very analytical and perceptive player. It's an interesting shift in your behavior, to say the least.

Anyway, if I may pass on the microphone on, I'd like to draw attention to the lack of votes from a great deal of players on both Day 1 and Day 2. I'm not a fan of chronic inaction and this lurktoberfest we've got going on. I've got a wonderfully suspicions vibe of Jim Groovester, but it's 75% wintuition right now.

Jim Groovester was Clippy(Town).
Solifuge, this looks VERY bad.  The first thing you should check is who got killed in the night, and that applies to all players.  As far as I can tell, this is a poor gambit to make it look like you've forgotten who got killed, and therefore "obviously" had nothing to do with it.

So, is dakarian scum?  Or are you just trying to discredit your attacker?

Laughable. If you try to pull "deflection" as scummy, nobody would ever be able to mention another player ever at any time for any reason. In fact, this isn't scummy at all. Solifuge it attacking Cheeetar. I see no problems whatsoever.

You know deflection is a bullshit attack, Leafsnail. The only reason you'd attack for deflection is if you're scum.

It's scummy as it's an attempt to draw attention away from himself.  He isn't attacking Cheeetar - if he wanted to attack Cheeetar he'd vote or at least ask him a question.  Simply bringing up someone's elses scumminess (when you're not even attacking them) when questioned is certainly scummy.

Self Meta.  Your defense is nulled.  You're aware enough of your playstyle to know that you tend to be silent early on.

Saying "I do it as town" (that IS what you are suggesting, right?) fails since you can easily think that way while scum.  I've seen it done actually.

Are you declaring that I might be scum or just trying to make me look bad?  If the former, don't beat around the bush.  If the later, that's highly scummy.

I SHOULD be raising the pitchfork.  That's how town rolls.  They strike and strike hard at a person until they crack.  It's the cracking that shows whether they are town or scum.

But you want me to just not scumhunt why.. because it's you?  So scumhunting someone I don't know looks bad. Good to know.

As for the Cheeetar matter.. no I didn't see.  Care to point out to me what I missed?

As for the talk about how I'm seem to be doing something odd by looking at the 3rd vote and how I'm 'normally so analytical'.

You don't know me very well, do you.  That you believe 3rd vote is something new an unusual for me of all things proves that fact.

But really are you actually trying to mark me as scum or just trying to belittle me.  I want to know.

Lurkerhunting.. cute.

Meanwhile, Jim died, and he was town, so there's your wintuition.

But you did result in something intersesting from someone else..

Seriously, Leafsnail.  You think that Solifuge actually PLANNED on mistaking who died to try to make us think that she didn't do anything about it?  That's sort of broken logic there.

You can seriously see "Hey scumbuddy, I'm going to say that the person we killed is the one I suspect.  That'll really throw off suspicion off of me"?

Yes to the first.  No to the second.  I see it as an attempt to imply towniness through ignorance.  I have certainly seen examples of this on irc, the most common of which occurs when someone flips "mutilated corpse" and the scum is always the first to ask "What the hell is that!?".  Same goes for a daykill (especially an oddly timed one), poisonings and incinerations.  Scum attempting to avoid suspicion through apparent ignorance is common.
