How so what?
What makes you think he's telling the truth about always lying?

How is he not confirmed?

His role could be, literally, "You must tell lies all the time, but those lies are from your point of view and if you were on the town"

By definition that makes you a fan since you still buy them.

Neruz, is the above statement a lie or the truth?

Uhm, i do not think there is a way for me to lie about the answer of this question.
I see what Mr.Person means.  If you have to lie, surely you should've written "I think there is a way for me to lie about the answer of this question"?

As the question was "Is there a way to lie about the answer of this question" and not asking if a paradoxical statement was a lie or the truth, my answer is clearly in violation of the post restrictions which is why Eduren has modkilled me and i am no longer allowed post in the thread.

You were included in the group of people the question asked. You weren't the ONLY one getting asked, but the question was directed towards you.

Ok, seriously, i have no idea where you're getting this idea that saying a question to a general group is a direct question. I have never heard any other concept than a direct question is a question asked directly to a person. As in specifically asking that person.

Neruz, tell me if your posting restriction applies to direct commands.

Since it's not a direct question, you should be able to answer truthfully.

How is he not confirmed?

Or he or an ally may have a role capable of faking one modpost during the day, used to "confirm" him. Never assume something can't be done in Toony Mafia.

Out of curiosity, what qualifies as a Paradox given game context, exactly?
A self-contradictory statement.

Well, I certainly wasn't responsible for last night's mur.... oh wait.

Much like a heavily-reduced, corn-starched gravy, the plot thickens.

I GOOGLE'D it. The only repsonses I can get are "Direct questions end in question marks and are interrogative. Indirect questions end in a period and are imperative or declarative."

Quote from: Wiktionary's article on "Who"
Who is that? (direct question)
I don't know who it is. (indirect question)

Quote from: About.com's article on "Direct Question"
A sentence that asks a question and ends with a question mark. Contrast with indirect question.

Find me a dictionary that DOESN'T define direct question like this, and I'll say you can live.

Day 1 may be over, but the Argument lives on!

No seriously guys, someone didn't die. And by the general laws of Mafia, which may or may not apply here, they were probably supposed to. We've got a protector, some sort of invulnerable role, funky scum roles, or perhaps...

...perhaps there are no scum. Indeed, I think that's what I'm going with. Let us all join hands and sing Kumbaya, etc.

Your arguing and accustations cannot be contained in one room. You find yourselves moving throughout the Hotel. In the lobby, by the swimming pool, in the swimming pool, shopping downtown, and everywhere else. Just because people are out to kill you doesn't mean you should ruin your vacation!

After a while, you enter a room in the hotel and immediately are told to be quiet. You have apparently walked into the Day-Care center! And it is Nap Time! Everyone quiets down and takes a seat on the floor in the corner.

Somebody has used the Shush power. All conversation for the remainder of the day has ceased.

In this thread there are only a handful of things that you may do today.
