I avoid most of the upper forums.
Mostly only going to DF GD and Fortress mode.
Occasionally visiting some of the others.

Aw, I don't want this to die. :(

I personally read all the sections of Finally except RTD and Mafia, DF General Discusion, Anouncements, and nothing else. Has been that way for almost a year I think... I really want to read some of the more famus stories like Nist Akath someday, but I really doubt I'll ever get the time...

Damn, this makes me sad. :(

I'm sortof imagining the distinction between upper forum goers and lower forum goers as something similar to the difference between Deep Dwarves and Mountain Dwarves.

I have mixed feelings about this thread.  On the one hand, I can think of a joke to center a story around.

On the other, the whole thread is a little odd, as is the concept.

And guys, neither upper nor lower forums are a bad as you think.  They both have their purposes and have their own extremes of awkwardness that shifts from one to the other as the time between releases increases.

Well, I finally got around to reading everything.  Aside from the external entries that didn't go many places, it's... what, WorkerDrone and Janet's chat-relationship jokes turned into High School-ish narrative.  It's there, it's not bad, it's what it is.

I know I've been kind of hard about stuff lately, and don't let me keep anyone from having fun.  But I reiterate that I am finding it increasingly hard to keep up or to want to.  Maybe one of these days I'll get around to writing crap of my own, and I can stop being a critic, but whatever.
