The two planets maintain a constant distance from eachother and follow an orbit which looks like this:

Kaluri awakens, seeing that the others have been busy, and she examines the work done before her, seeing two spheres circling a large burning ball of fire, and only sees one rock having anything upon it. She feels great power flow through her form, as she starts to influence these worlds, creating a molten heart at each rock.

Kaluri creates magma cores in both planets.

Kaluri then looks upon these barren rocks, and sighs in boredom, as she weaves life into the ground, taking the idea from that of the large tree, creating forests, of much smaller versions of the tree, giving them variety, and also, smaller cousins, bushes, shrubs and grasses. these would all spread to form the foundation of the great hunting grounds that she desired to make.

Kaluri creates vegetation to spread on both planets.

My god's name is Kaluri, not my forum name. also she is not a raptor, it is just that a raptor's build is the closest form i can be sure you know of.

This is Dwarf Fortress! If we can chuck magma at innocent wildlife, we can do ANYTHING!

It was at this point that I realised that dwarves are actually the essence of chaos. What else can make perpetual motion machines, recursive statues with more building materials than the average tower and has such a short attention span that a damn fine chair can off-set the death of their entire family.

And Fil wagged his tail. The Black Rock Planet suddenly stopped, and moved into orbit with the Sun. It was close enough to have vegetation, but far enough to not have ciolent heat waves. A perfect place for life.

And Ortol placed a great tree upon the Venom Planet. It was like that of a great bird, its leaves like feathers, the branches wings. And its sap, like a deadly venom. The tree reached up, high into the heavens.

Again, Ortol again moves. He forces the planets in a chase, forever as they follow each other.

Kaluri awakens now.

And now, she sends to spheres are made of burning fire, everburning as well. She sends them to the cores of both planets. Great power comes from the spheres.

And with another wave, Kaluri creates green plants along the planets. However, her power is not that great. The only thing that rises are grasses, and the occasional bush, but alas, nothing to match the power of the Feather Tree.

Kaluri watches as her creations follow through with her will, the grasses and shrubs being the basis of life, and she creates semi-sentient set of golems that follow her will, spreading the grasses, and being careful not to damages that which they spread. they are made from the very rocks they are from, they are also softened, and are given the ability to soften the rock just on the surface ,to allow better growth. the magma of course being much much deeper.

Kaluri creates golems from soil, and sets them with a task to spread the basics of life, soil and vegetation.

Faden sees Kaluri's work and is intrigued. She lands on the Venom Planet and begins to scratch at its surface. After some time, she exposes the magma, which pours out and solidifies on the surface of the venom planet. The resulting layer is more fertile than the venom mantle.

Faden creates a layer of arable land on the Venom Planet

Helmaroc sees the others working on his creation and decides to take part. He examines the planet and then pulls up the surface, creating mountains and valleys.

Helmaroc forms tall mountains and low valleys on the planet.

Helmaroc takes a mixture of venom and his own blood and creates small humanoid beings, goblins. They are green and ugly, and they live in the dark caves and caverns of the mountains of his Venom Planet. They are cruel and brutish and are not above eating their own kind.

Helmaroc creates goblins that live in the mountains of the Venom Planet.

And Faden, in jealousy of the work of Kaluri, churns the ground of the Venom Planet. Eventually, the magma appears, and soldifies, creating arable land upon the top of the Venom Planet.

And Helmaroc acts, twice, first, by appearing on the Venom planet. He grabs at the ground, pulling up parts of the ground, and putting them in others. He creates valleys, and mountains.

And again he acts, the second time, and he appears before his mountains. He then makes a goblin tribe, eight in all. They are cruel, and war-like, and must eat. They look around the Planet, and have not to eat, other than the grasses of the planet. They soon pounces on the others, eating two before settling their hunger.

Kaluri sees the goblins, and knows that they need sustenance to survive, distasteful as they may be, they had a right to live, if they could survive the hunt, and so, she creates herds of herbivores, of a limited variety to start with, but makes sure enough are made to survive the goblins. She splits her power between the two worlds, so at least some will survive on one.

Kaluri creates nonsentient herbivores on both planets.

Makes sense, but maybe you should have a minimum full 24-hour rule between postings unless every single god has posted either an act or a pass for the turn.

Faden surveys both planets, quickly crossing the Void with her powerful wings. The same wing beats that carry her through the Void disturb the Planets, causing them to rotate even as they circle the Sun.

Faden gives the planets rotation.

And Kaluri moves her hand upon the scattered earths, and appearing before her eyes, the golems of soil and earth appear. They spread across the planets, harmless beings, spreading soil and vegetation across the lands.

And another sweep of her hand, she creates herbivores, eaters of plants. They are deer-like in being, but with six legs, and a quickened pace.

And Faden surveys both planets, and with a quick gale, the planets spin in their everlasting chase.

"A game is to be held, a great contest!" proclaimed Ortol. "There will be prizes."

The first prize that Ortol made was a great crown of wood, with flowers blooming from the tips. It was placed at the top of the tallest tree, the first Feather Tree. The mortal who could snatch it from such a height would be granted great power.

Ortol makes a magic crown and puts it on top of his Feather Tree for some mortal to claim.

And, second, he created a bag, a bag wrought of bloody leather and great enchantment. When empty bones are put into the bag and left there overnight, they will be covered with fresh meat of the most delicious sort. The bag was hidden in the roots of the Feather Tree, in the shade and under the ground.

Ortol made a magical bag of meat and hid it underneath his Feather Tree for some mortal to claim.

"I bid each God to choose a champion, be they goblin or golem or something else entirely. Send them forth to claim these prizes and proclaim themselves victors!"
