If that was a swipe at "rolling back edits would be cheating", I was assuming it was a game feature.

No, there's a thing in the rules you can sign that gives you the ability to rollback edits, as well as a few other benefits.

That's insane. I never scrolled down on the rules enough to see that :P

Wait, you can revert logs to find out IPs? How?

Supposedly if you sign this thing with your username, it lets you rollback your edits to logs.
I'm not seeing it.

At the very bottom, in the "Let's make a pact" section.

This was probably the only time I really read the rules of an online game.

Uhhhh, I didn't, and still don't see it. Ctrl+f doesn't even bring up anything.

You have to be logged in while that page is open. It happened to me too and logging in then refreshing the rules page fixed the problem.

I read them if I can be bothered to do so. I vaguely remember reading the Terms of Service for World of Warcraft, Dungeons and Dragons Online and ForumWarz, though why I don't remember. I think I was bothered to do so.

Quick question, wtf is social engineering?

They're nearly as bad as badgers. Build a couple of anti-buzzard SAM sites marksdwarf towers and your fortress will look like Baghdad in 2003 from all the aerial bolt spam. You waste a lot of ammo and everything is covered in unslightly exploded buzzard bits and broken bolts.

Quick question, wtf is social engineering?
Basically manipulating people to get what you want. If you had $100,000 and I manipulated you to get it, that would be social engineering. People who order something online, then claim they never got it and manipulate help desks to get extra products are loosely included in social engineering.

That's the juvenile stuff. Social Engineering in a mor modern perspective is getting access to a company by following in people on a smoke break, asking to print a copy of the resume that your poor dear child spilled coffee on, or just telling a security guard you forgot your badge.
