I'm pretty sure it would be considered an unfair advantage, friend or no. You go to the same forum, talk in the same thread, and he willingly handed his IP over. I.E. friends enough.

On a more serious note, shall we all agree to helping eachother out if any of us get wiped? I have no problem uploading some of my programs to a wiped player as long as they delete the log after, seeing as i'll likely leave it running while i'm at college
