EDIT: This point can apparently not be repeated enough here: The logs are the most important thing in this game by far. Be obsessive-compulsive about cleaning them. I've practiced good log hygiene since I started and I have yet to get hacked by anyone.

Can anyone else confirm this?
I've done a lot of money transfers and never seen anything pop up on bank logs, only my own. Its possible someone is wiping the log before I notice, but then I'd think my bank would have been hacked by now- or even my own computer... but its not.

I can confirm it.

Most higher players won't risk their IP on transfering a small amount of cash.
Since your software is low-level, I assume they just don't bother

I thought it might do so when I did my first transfer, but when it didn't appear to I guess I assumed no log event took place.
I guess the log was just getting copied and deleted before I was able to read it- so I just never saw the notification.

Yeah, I made a mistake yesterday.  Just as I was heading for bed I decided to upload a 0.3 virus (1 minute) instead of the 0.7 (27 minutes) before heading out.  I got distracted (ADD is awesome!) and by the time I came back someone put "<-- going to get hacked and deleted" next to my IP.  Fortunately I had a IP reset available, which I promptly did; I wasn't willing to risk not doing it.

Aw. Some guy just got it, deleted my AV. I did a bit of calculations, and programs total size doesnt matches with total used spaced, so I guess I have about 200MB of virii now
