HEY THAT BASTARD DELETED LEAFSNAIL.TXT

He's going down.  Although since we're both slaves of each other, I don't see this ending too well.

I think when you upload the spammer virus to slaves you need the marketing mailer to start actually spamming. I don't know about the filegrabber yet.

I read somewhere that if a cat falls more than 11 stories, it instinctively flares its legs out to increase air resistance. This slows it down enough to stick the landing with relatively minor injuries. In Dwarf Fortress, apparently, cats don't do that.

The mailer is required to access your spammer viruses. You cannot set them to spam or collect profits without a .mailer of equal or higher level than the spam virus.

The virus level only counts when there is more than one virus competing for a computer(warez and spam compete for diffrent resources, so can coexist), and then the higher level virus gets a greater share of the profits.

A 1.0 wwl takes up an entire upgraded external drive, and yet with it, I can(and am) recovering from a format(and IP change)

More accurately: will be.

First, getting the .mailer and firewall off a site I accidentally left open(because I didn't know until now that an IP reset clears processes, I had almost everything predownloaded).

Since it is already open, I can reduce the chance of being noticed to almost reasonably non-paranoia-inducing levels. (~1 or less rather than >5 seconds)

I almost feel safe for the moment!

Darn, I figured out slavehack's real IP address and tried plugging it into slavehack. No dice. That had potential to be an interesting easteregg.

I found a really odd file at 61.228.148.134
Check out the hello.txt in the folder on the hard drive... it looks like a to-do list for changes to Slavehack.

Well, I know of one (obvious) easter egg IP.
Anyone know the (real life) address of localhost?

It's slightly less used than some other, more obvious, IPs.

Oh, also I never DID get the tutorial to work. It was on, but it never did anything. Is it supposed to pop up with stuff or actually give you guidance?

I was wondering about that, too, yesterday, but the forum's manual section has enough help.

This is probably the most terrifying thing to find in your logs.

I find myself sitting, on the edge of my seat, repeatedly mashing F5.

Oh darnit I just had this question in Net+ class.... uh 169.68.0.1?

EDIT: Bah looked it up in the book 127.0.0.1

EDIT 2: Now who would DDOS the localhost? Those horrible horrible people.

Sorry, Detrevni, but enjoy your new .vspam.

Well, aslong as you didn't destroy all my hard earned stuff, enjoy your new cash flow!

Atleast, until I get an upgraded AV.
