It's a rush realizing that by only checking in every five minute you can steal hundreds of euros from other accounts, instead of waiting for hours for a few measly euros. 

EDIT: At least half an hour in, and nothing's been stolen. Either I escaped or they're waiting. Probably the latter.

Protip:  If you're surfing an active player's logs and you see bank account data, but you don't want OTHER players to find it...well, you're probably screwed, but at least you can munge some of the numbers in it, so A) other players won't have that number and B) the owner probably won't notice anything amiss!  Of course plenty of things can go wrong, but think outside the box. 


...Okay, I need help with something.  How do I KEEP processes from auto-continuing?  It's most annoying with log edits, where even if I hit edit then immediately go to my computer, it still might autocomplete.  Closing the tab works, but is annoying.

This feels like cheating. Sit at a bank and watch the log, download the autoreload addon for firefox and set to 5 seconds. Record every IP you see for later.

lol, if you're at the newbie bank you probably found me while I was there.

I did a money transfer on some guy's account who left his password in a text file on his computer (thought it was a prank until I logged in!) and checked a bunch of other accounts that I had tried previously to see if they were still in use (sadly, no).

I spent my first chunk of change on a external hard drive so I could store my waterwall. Now I'm really really wanting a better connection, since it takes *forever* to redownload stuff when some jerk comes in and wipes me out.

There should be some kind of way to stop someone from cleaning you out if you see them doing it. Like a "pull the plug" button that flips the internet off, then you might have to spend 20 mins reconnecting or something but it would be better than just sitting there watching someone erase all the stuff you just spent hours downloading.

I just found a B12 DanJohnson. A guy logged into yours while i was having a look at your files so i hacked into his comp, installed his own virus on there and hid it, hid his antivirus, his seeker and deleted his waterwall

The dude was deleting files. And I don't like getting hacked back. He's lucky i'm being nice. If I was a proper ass I would have hidden EVERYTHING

I have started (currently on my first) finding player IPs and judging them. Then helping, or maybe leaving a virus.

Some player is going to have 8 viruses cleared by me.

Maybe I should get a larger collection of software, some low level antiviruses and such.

I find it hilarious. Most of the time I can't be bothered to run it though. I will do when I'm out of Hard drive space though

I think I have a setup that is immune to hidden viruses.

The only way that someone can put a virus on me is to make a noticable change in drive usage, or delete one of my files.

And I have started organizing things in my personal log collection...

So if I use one of your own virus's on you, hide it, and keep your logs the same, you're saying that you would notice?

Hell, most people don't notice if i just install and hide their DDOS.

Well, I have a high level antivirus, so I am saying that to hide a virus on me will require deleting a file(very noticable), it would get caught by the antivirus when I run it, or it would cause a noticable increase in drive usage if it was too good for my antivirus.
