Just found another B12er and gave him a 0.3 virus and a message in his log file. Hes my first slave! (he has an antivirus big enough to kill my virus, but maybe he'll keep it a little while?)

So what's the roll on cracking a bank password anyway? I just spent FOREVER getting into an empty account.

Oh, and here's a cool trick: Whenever a log or text file is saved, due to some weird glitch, it creates a backslash in front of any apostrophes. If you keep careful track of these, you can know whether someone's been in your logs.

Heh, I've been trying to crack one account for ages. I found it by being in their computer while they bought an upgrade. I guess I'm unlucky, but I've already failed 6 times (9 minutes each...)

The other account I cracked I got the password for the first try, but it has such a measly amount that I just cleared the bank logs and am waiting and hoping for more.

For bank cracking I just let it run in another tab and keep doing stuff in my main tab.

yea, but it slows things down to 1/2 when multitasking like that. I can't afford going places if it takes 2x the time to clear my log.

Hmm, if you have the wrong number (I'm thinking maybe they edited it a split second before I refreshed their log or something....) will it just keep failing, or tell you the number is wrong?

The roll for the crack actually giving me the password, not there being money in the acct.

Ahh, I don't know the % chance but it does get better with a better cracker.

So using my trusty timer I have determined that the bot check capcha's come up roughly every 20 minutes, though it varies. I had one pop at 17 and one at 22 at the outside.

I logged into a guy who had planted a virus on me (its still there, just hidden real good - apparently hes a high end player) and turns out hes under DDOS attack and getting his stuff smushed.

Can't players getting DDOS's just change their IP?
