Seems likely that you did something small to one of his slaves, and he retaliated.
Probably something as simple as logging in.

Advice: newbie protection is 60 minutes of unhackable. After that, the game holds nothing back.

Whether you quit or not, just remember that you can format your drive and change your IP.
If you know how, do them almost simultaneously, in that order(format, then IP change).

Also, clear your logs, both on your own (virtual) computer and elsewhere.

Yes, clearing the logs is so damn important.

Another thing i've learned is that if you want a slave, delete their ip too once you intend to visit it. This means less traffic goes through their way, and you have more time to screw around.

But they aren't my friends, I barely know them. If anything it would be successful social engineering.

I do that all the time (and the reverse, grap IPs out of other people's personal logs).
