Having a stab at Hackwars now too. Seems pretty fun, but it has a woefully small playerbase. At the moment, Bay 12 makes up over half of all online players.

The noob protection (NPCs can't touch you, except for counterattacks) stops at 30, for reference.

Eh, not especially interested in Hackwars, personally. I'm finding it hard to take the game seriously due to weird "combat" system. Not that Slavehack is any more realistic, but it just feels better to me.

I admit the scripting is awesome, though.

Pretty amazing to still see a community of people playing this game. Although it looks like several people have been banned. Are any of you still playing/is the GS still up?

Almost everyone got banned because we upset the community by being a team of 1/10 of the players or w/e.
