Space marines can vary in height quite a bit.
I think the shortest space marines are a mere seven feet tall, with the average being eight, though they can reach up to something like 10 feet tall.

The armour would add to that height, as well.
Space marines: not midgets.

Of course, like everything in 40k, it varies a bit with the writer.
