Also, protip: jeans will chafe like the bloody blue blazes if you let them get damp with sweat or spilled water or whatever. They are great against thorns and snakebite though, agreed.

Huh. Surprised they let you wander around in the bush. Most places keep you to your car or at least specific hiking trails for your own safety.

Awww, I was expecting plant pictures.

My parents have an Elephant's Foot in the garden (maybe it has a different name in English, I dunno). It's really pretty, and every spring I look forward to seeing its first little buds popping out of the ground.
