Well, there's RedKing, and MZ, and Sirus, and smj, and probably a couple others... But yeah, college-age is pretty standard around here.

What sort of stockpiles though? Those two don't look like they could carry anything too heavy

Yeah, we actually have a ton of old fogeys around here. Certainly compared to how it might seem, anyway.

I envy you your desk space. I'll have to post a pic of mine at some stage - I bet I could fit almost my entire bedroom in one picture.

I would guess it was for navigation purposes. Highlighting a specific place in an uniformed interior, seems logical.

So yeah, more desk space is something I'd love. Two monitors wouldn't go astray either, I use an 8" tablet at this desk...

Also pictured: the main reason my desk isn't completely covered in drifts of paper, i.e. those shelves above it. Also the weird white thing with notes stuck all over it is a bookcase, which I'm pleased is now almost full after two years with access to a bookshop.

I can relate to most of these desks, they are comfortably messy (except Comrade P's, you ORDERLY PERSON YOU although it still looks cozy as hell). Mine is messy enough to warrant an archaeological investigation. :v
