And all so I started this after the "into the matrix" post and have only just refreshed to see the other stuff so I'm still going to post it :I _{...Thank for making this work feel silly >:I}

I really should go to sleep it's almost 2 AM but not when there's pictures of Remalle's face to edit fads to contribute to and mess around with. Also Lemons your matrix gif is hella dope.

The first one was easy. took the png green thing I made earlier, open the gif made by lemons in the same file so that the gif was loaded as 3 layers, then duplicate my green colored image, layer it so there's a colored one over each frame of lemons' gif, then set the colored image to "color" layer settings and merge each color layer to the gray matrix frame, and save it as a gif, and boom, color.

The second one was the result of me fiddling some more with layers and transparencies and getting a neat result. It's not a gif. Still looks kinda cool.

AH what program are you using because every time I try to make a animated .gif in gimp it tells me to fuck off and covert it to gray-scale. I want colour ;-;

You probably need to go Image>Mode>RGB.

Actually that was the problem gimp will not export RGB's as a animated .gif but I just looked it up and found a fix. So gimp wanted the image converted to in indexed but for me that was gray'ed out. It turns out that you can't change it if you are using Layer Groups which I always do. So I have to Flatten Layer Groups the I can change it to indexed and then I can make the .gif.

.gif is an indexed compression algorithm, so that's not surprising
