Roads are pretty good here, with the exception of the Belgian provinces.

You ever been to Waloonia? Our potholes collections would make anyone jealous.

We're so proud of our potholes that we put light poles on all streets so people can marvel at them!

Roads here get pretty cracked and whatnot, but they aren't god awful the way some pothole paths are.

Roads are a mixed bag in NZ. In much of not-south-Auckland they're fantastic - well designed and well maintained - and most rural areas nationwide are okay. Christchurch, though, is nothing but potholes and roadcones, and that's assuming there's a road at all.

And they like to block off (perfectly drive-able) roads for construction just a couple weeks before the year's first severe cold hits, and then leave it blocked off for absolutely no reason with no work even started on it for the next 6 or 7 months.
