And maybe your ponytail is the ponytail that will convince those of us who do not like ponytails that ponytails are, in face, awesome?
It's not that ponytails are bad, really, they're just boring. And they can be really bad if not done properly- case in point, whenever I tie my hair back. I think I'd need to use some sort of hair product to get a good ponytail happening.
Instead I only wear a ponytail when it's covered by a beanie.

I can safely say that my brother looks better wearing a ponytail, since he doesn't trim his sideburns often enough. Whilst that may not seem relevant, it means that when his hair is loose he looks like someone that lives under a tree next to the highway.

Eh, honestly I don't even think I look all that good with a pony tail. (I got decent amounts of compliments while pony-tailing it up though, so I guess people disagree? Eh.) I pretty much only do it when I wanna look semi-respectable or shave or something else where my bangs would get in the way.
I'm just saying that they can be done all nice and properly by a dude.

Adrian Paul rocked a ponytail through much of the Highlander tv series, and he was quite popular with a certain demographic.  I remember a couple fight scenes where he headbutt people, and the vertical whipping of the ponytail made it look much more badass than a headbutt normally does.



There was also Antonio Banderas in Desperado

Or myself!  I used to wear a ponytail quite often, when my hair was long.  I'm sure I have some decent pictures of the phenomenon around somewhere, but I'd have to track them down.

I always feel bad when I offend people, intentionally or otherwise, and I really hope that you didn't take my comment about ponytail to heart. After all, I am a self-admitted fashion victim who trows a fit when his trousers are a centimeter too long and so the absolute majority of my comments on aesthetics are idiotic nitpicking rants surpassed only by those posted here.
