Oh my goodness, I just nearly fell on the floor laughing. Thank you for that. The only Asians I know personally around here are Taiji teachers so they're all in their 80s and 90s and still look like they're in their 30s.

I cant speak for all teens around the world, but I really dont consider anyone in their 20s-30s "older", not even 40s really.

It is a testament to my trust in this community that I, after more or less renouncing Facebook and the whole idea of internet-induced narcissism that has taken over modern society, have decided to share this picture of myself, partly because I'm an "older woman" to most of you (I'm 28 though I look younger) and I'm confident I'm a very nice-looking chick for a gamer, and partly because I've had almost a whole bottle of wine tonight, and what is getting drunk alone in your apartment for if not for posting ridiculous things on the internet?

I'm actually 17 and attending high school so no! of course I also came to to terms with my own mortality a long time ago.

I'm not indestructible, I guess alot of people think that, but I certainly am afraid of getting hurt. I try to be careful always, that's not to say I don't/haven't done stupid things, but I try not to.

Did you do the thing where you have more in depth conversations with your teachers than with your fellow students? I did that a lot growing up.

It's also funny, because while I certainly have always felt much older and mature than I actually am, currently I also simultaneously don't quite feel like an adult yet.
