Were you ever worried about having to get it cut due to military service, but it turned out to not be a problem?

Also, my current hair.

Hey, it's meant as a compliment for you, not necessarily a compliment from me :D

In my case, (being asexual, and odd, even as a child. Sexual orientation really is inborn I think. Never have comprehended the absurdities of gender politics. Women are just people with boobies and a special monthly blessing to me. The gender related foibles of both genders are a complete mystery to me.) Being the younger sibling, and insisting on long hair despite the "You'll look like a girl!" Mantra mom tried to use to dissuade me (my reaction was, and still is "so? I like the way it feels when I pull on it. Who cares what other people think?"), my older sister decided that playing with mine was good practice for her own. She's only 4 years older than me. We have similar hair growth types, and similar colors, so it works well for her to try stuff on me to see what it will look like on her.

My condition that I get to play with her hair as collateral prevented getting piggy tails and cornrows, ....for the most part.

There was one year where she was going to dress as an anime character for a halloween party, and did some unspeakable things to my hair, but thankfully there are no pictures.

LOL, the costume she finally worked out was hilarious though.

Well, no.

1: Because I will never, ever serve in the military of my own free will. And if I'm forced into it, I have bigger problems
2: I'm 15, so even if I would thats a long way off.

One thing I would have to cut it for: Fast food jobs. Seriously.

I noticed. I was just happy it was grey and not white. White knit turtlenecks really shouldn't be worn by men, ever. Ever.

Well, no.
Oh ok, then not you.
I can't remember who, but somebody around here has the longest, sexiest, blondest hair with a perfect salon silk texture. When he walks past, bottles of hair dye wither away into ash and bald men scream in pain.

Ah... I thought you might have been talking about me.  There's a picture, maybe two, of me somewhere in this thread in my early twenties when I had hair down to the middle of my back.  I know I've posted one from my wedding where it was styled like Legolas.  Very blonde and straight.  Used to get compliments from girls all the time asking me how I kept it looking so neat and healthy.  Men would simply mistake me for a girl almost every time I went out in public.

And now I'm bald :P
