I'm a fan of the vest.

Not so much the brown, I'd prefer a deep red. Plus more form-fitting. But still. Vests~

For some reason it puts me in mind of the front half of an 18th century men's ponytail for some reason.

But hey, it's a pixie cut, maybe not the most stylistic pixie cut in the world, but as I understand it it's more about how you wear it than how it's cut anyway (not that I'm notorious for having good fashion savvy).

I personally think it looks cute.

I'm actually going to try to learn to sew soon, so maybe I'll be able to get some better-fitting clothes.  I'll definitely think about that deep red vest.  I'm glad if the haircut looks old-fashioned, too... I'm not really fond of the super-modern, stylized pixie cuts.

Love the Totoro shirt. The haircut is hair-cute. 

It's got a retro feel, circa 1910-1930. Especially with the second outfit. You look like you need a satchel, a bomber jacket, and a mission to go exploring the Upper Zambezi.

I actually keep on thinking that, rather than my tiny little purse that always falls off my shoulders and generally makes wearing my longcoats annoying, I'd probably be better off with a belt and a couple of pouches, if I could pull it off without looking like a tool (well, honestly, also because when I'm out exploring in the evenings the purse gets more in the way than my skirts for climbing purposes).  And trade in my backpack for a satchel, whatever.

Also, the faculty ball is coming and my gf refused to go unless we change roles and I wear the dress. Since it 20's themed, I can garantee you some glorious pictures.

A messenger bag might work for you. If you find a good one, you can wear them like either a backpack or satchel, synch them tight so they don't hang and flop around, and access the contents while on the move. Mine works to lug books, sketch paper, and food when hiking, finding a tree to perch in, or generally out and about.

And hey, it's even purseoid, if that ever becomes a concern!

Yeah!  I'm too short and weak to get many places, but sometimes in the evening I go find stuff to clamber on and it's great.

Hmm. . . yeah.  Might work until I move out.  I kind of hate purses (always have, probably always will) but I think my mom will flip out if I lay too many feminine accoutrements by the wayside at once.
