Parents tend to have an instinctual desire to protect and care for their children.

Occasionally, they don't.

If you tell them and they seem... to not have that instinctual desire, go somewhere.  Does Denmark have places for minors from abusive homes?  You might keep your eye our for one if your parents know but don't take it very well.  I guess after you're out of the house it won't matter as much, but just in case.

Im almost a legal adult. Given my municipality(county)'s "SAVE ALL THE MONEY, BUILD PRETTY OFFICES"(like the average DF noble) mindset, they wouldnt place me in one. Had i got out age 14, i would have had one.
