The name actually stems from a football player who used to play for Grimsby Town, Clive Mendonca. The handle was chosen fairly arbitrarily, and it has just kinda stuck.

Looks like his uncle Ivor used to play cricket for the West Indies, via British Guiana, which would go some way to explain the Portuguese name (via Brazil, I suppose). I didn't know that until now!

Grimsby is a little less exotic than British Guiana

I think that's actually a pretty cool smile.

Sure, it might look more normal and attractive if you showed teeth, but right now you look like some sort of adventurous character, laughing off another dramatic near-death experience, probably just after having escaped the clutches of the series' big bad after some over-the-top chase scene through an old-fashioned pirate port.
