I straightened it once. It took many long, arduous hours of washing, vigorous combing, drying and straightening, but then it looked quite nice. By the next day, however, it had already returned to its catastrophic curliness.

In fact it only stayed straight for a few hours. It could just mean that I didn't do a proper job of straightening it, but I prefer to jump to the conclusion that I have some evil enchanted hair demon battened onto my head, drinking my life-force as I sleep. As you do.

Exactly. I straighted it one day, didn't last very long, not worth the effort I'm also content with the hair demon(s).

Man, sometimes I miss my long hair (used to reach between the shoulder blades at the back)... then I remember the hour-long deknotting sessions, or all the times it got in the way when I was with my ladyfriends.

And come now. Only mine was really terrible.

Hardly; I was rocking the pedostache of all pedostaches! Even if I was otherwise identical to Fabio (the most beautiful man alive), that makes it terrible by default.
