My yellow lenses are being delayed, so they gave me these ones for free.

The meat is mildly spongy. Not unlike beef, but with a springy texture and a very iron-y taste. It's very gamey too, as Blargityblarg said. Roo goes well with most anything that a lightly cooked beef would. It goes best with sweet, fruity sauces (quandong, raspberry, etc).

There's a definite aftertaste too, which is not bad.

Just saw this and have to confirm that yes, roo tail is rather rubbery. One of those "life imitates cartoon physics" sort of things. Good flavor though. Had mine with a mushroom gravy, if memory serves.

Hot damn, I wished my hair was as orange as yours, it's mostly faded now, then again it never was much of a colour, only an afterglow of bright orange, still looked sexy.


But I am going black come summer, gotta wait a bit, don't want my dad to have a stroke with all the fuss he's throwing about me dying my hair and being a male :S
