I was. Though I didn't to all that much, being new and worthless.

Also the pay was pure shit.

Nowadays I do the same thing, only I do most of the work instead of doing little doodads here and there. I like what I do, even if the architects I deal with are brain-damaged.

right now I can get a footlong sandwich that leaves me stuffed for $1.6, though things like pasta are more expensive.

So, for sandwiches, $8 US/MI = $1.6 IN. So jealous.

if I want actual cheese on it instead of curd (cheese doesn't get made around here, too hot and humid) I have to pay $2 instead.

There are some places around here where you can buy a slice of pizza for $3. I mostly avoid those places like the plague, though.

I think there's some value disparity in the US though, you have to hire some teenager for $7.50/hour american, while in India that's a kickass job because you don't earn that much. If the US was able to do what India's doing right now we would be murdering the job market. It's just become expensive to live here, although the increased devlopment of the US is not without it's perks (I don't know where Japa lives and if he's doing computer work it's probably quite nice but on the whole India is under-developed infrastructure and building wise, no matter how old the buildings/roads in the US maybe).

I actually didn't know that the first picture was digitally rendered. I just thought it was one of those wonders of the old world that exist in other countries. That's how much my mind is blown.
