Not much shorter I hope, because when you mentioned Joan of Arc I was really worried you meant this. Thankfully, women's definition of short hair seems to be different from mine.

There's a couple of Mazu temples in SF as well (the Tin Hau temple is the oldest Taoist temple in the US), and like a schmuck I totally forgot to go visit them when I was there last winter.  You West Coast folks are spoiled, with "temples" everywhere. 
The only temples you find on this side are either synagogues or Jehovah's Witness or the occasional Mormon.
