Vector should get herself lasered or get contacts. Unshaded glasses never looked good on ANYONE.

I think they're kind of cute/hot, myself.
Pictures. That still sounds bad.

That was a polite way of saying "I like the way I look and it's not really anyone else's business."

But okay.

Here you go.

Mhm, they add personality.
I was kinda sad, when 2 of my friends changed to contacts.

Had to wear glasses for a short time as a kid. I don't remember it being much of a problem.

It's known as the Oppai-Kaiju effect. The islands of Japan generate a sort anti-gravity field, which allows breasts to behave as if in microgravity. It's also what allows Godzilla and friends to become 50 stories tall, and lets ninjas run up the side of a skyscraper.

lies!!
besides, glasses are cheaper

i personally favour the nerdy, thick rimmed glasses that are so en vogue amongst hipsters now

Yeah, I'm considering getting something more rectangular next time I go, because the plastic on these is crumbling.  I've had the frames for probably 7 years or more... but I always put it off, because I really don't like the frames that are in vogue right now at my optometrist, and the person who's supposed to help you pick out frames always wants to make me get glasses that don't look like me.

I think I'd look pretty bad with thick black hipster frames, anyway.  My face is delicate enough that they'd just kind of curbstomp me.

Unshaded glasses never looked good on ANYONE. I shall post proof of this, later this week.

I very much disagree. I only know one or two people who look even a little better without their glasses on.

Ya, glasses make many people look better. And aside from simple looks, are a lot more convenient than contacts, which take longer to take off/put on, taking them off/putting on can sometimes lead to poking one's self in the eye and wearing causes dry eyes for some. The lasers method ends up with some pretty annoying side effects for some, mostly in the form of dry/burning/itchy eyes; and most aren't willing to have surgery to 'fix' something which was at worst a small problem with the way a select few see them.

There's an art to getting the right glasses. Some styles just don't look right on some people. I look decent in gunmetal quarter rimmed square ones, but change anything about it and it looks horrible.

Keep the rounded shape, but get some where the stick-parts connect higher on the lens.

Advice for me?

Yeah, I have to do something about these glasses.  I'll admit that I'm actually not too fond about how they look at the moment, but I still think I look much better with them than without.  Slightly smaller lenses, shifted frames, maybe just letting them slide a bit farther down my nose when I'm wearing them so there's space between eyebrow and frame.

I always consider taking a picture for you guys and posting it here so you all can be shocked at how horrifyingly non-nerdy and non-geeky I look, but then I think... "nahh"

Yeah, well, sorry bout that. It's just that the glasses-less-look made me go "oh, wow!".

I stick to my earlier statement, but must include the disclaimer that I hated having to wear glasses myself and sometimes still do (wear them and hate it).
