Couldn't stand to actually get in to that wetsuit and risk no more than 3 people know about it.

(Just did an open water swim in the Lake District, was surprisingly good fun - I was terrified prior to the event).

The most normal looking guy yet. Maybe because the faces, hair, clothing, background, weather and lighting are all very Dutch-looking, so it's probably me.

Edit: Ah, it's UK, just a bit more north than here. It already looked so "un-american"... That explains

Yeah the lighting / weather wasn't great, but turns out it was just about ideal for a swim in the lake. It was such fun in fact, that I forgot to go very fast, and came in at the end with the old guys and the pregnant women (53 minutes to swim a mile as opposed to the competitive chaps who came in at 16-odd minutes). Did I mention that I won a medal? 

And yeah, there is something distinctly 'Northern Europe' about the whole affair. Probably that ghastly neon coat.

I prefer to be anonymous. I dislike being judged. If I would post a picture, it would only be to feed my ego. Which isn't large enough to do it anyway.
