Fucking Green mountain, they killed us in the science bowl. We were all seniors and they were freshmen. Helps when they have a dedicated class that they train in >:C.

Similar in some aspects, but no. Knowledge Bowl isn't televised, the buzzing-in rules are different, it's not a game show, and every single school in the state sends a team. They rotate through matches, each room containing three teams at a time. The first round is written round in which the full team of 6 (5 for us, our 6th man was sick) works on a set of 60 questions for 30 minutes. Numerous oral rounds follow in which each set of three teams has 50 questions to buzz in and answer. You get 15 seconds once you buzz in to answer, and if you fail the second team tries, and if they fail the third team tries. The top 9 schools go to a semifinal round, and then the winners of those three go to the championship round, with the rest going to consolation brackets for lower placing.  They're both tests of knowledge, though.

I dunno... that's not exactly a great look. Maybe groom it a bit more, or trim it back. A giant mess of hair does not a man make. You look like Weird Al, and not in a good way.

That's just my opinion, though, so hey, if it's getting you respect then I see no reason to change.
