I know a few pairs of twins, and aside from maybe when I first met them, I've never had an issue telling them apart. It's really (I imagine) the first meet or first impression where the "oh my god there's two of you" awkward jokes come a-flyin'.

I know a pair of twins that are identical, but nothing alike.
Only way to mistake them would be to look at them from far away, or something, I don't know, I'm going blind.
One is really thin, wears her hair in a ponytail, and is pretty quiet and shy.
The other dresses bright, wears her hair somewhat short, and is very loud and outgoing.
Then I know another pair who really are identical.
Same voice, same hair, only difference being clothes.

Oh, there was an actual pair of identical twins at my high school, too. Fairly similarly-looking blond girls, one a bit thinner than the other I think? Anyway.

One of them got pregnant.

Then the other did.

I had Chinese identical twins as colleagues once. They even wore the same clothes sometimes, and of course worked in the exact same office 

They weren't really insulted if you didn't recognise one from the other. They had trouble telling asians apart as well, let alone twins

The first looks rather knowing, so if you want seriousness, go with that.
The second is too neutral, don't use it.
The third looks like you're eyeing the book up, and would be good for hilariousness/making your classmates worry about your mental stability.

Fourth picture, you leaping off a roof top with the book in your hands, like you are executing a double sledgehammer.
Also, sorry for the twin thing. I didn't actually think you were though. My two older brothers are four years apart, and they are identical. Except for the fact that one has a receding hairline.

I think I'll go with the first one. It's part of my final project and all. I like how "missing the camera with my eyes" made it look knowing. I'll make sure to fit the third picture into the part where I'm reading the hilarious quotes on the back.
