Hmm... when skiing in -10C weather, I actually ended up in just a t-shirt and trousers.  Cross country skiing is very tiring.

Incidentally, this was with my Norwegian cousins, whose parents "might not let them out if it falls below -30C".

As for hot temperatures, I'm not exactly fond of them but they're an excuse to sit around naked and drink lemonade.  Not bad.

Cross-country skiing is enough to make me cook if I wear too many layers too, but I tend to naturally be very warm. Whenever I can get away with it, I like wearing an open hoodie with no shirt, and pajama pants; it keeps my extremities warm, but lets the rest of me stay cool. With a nice fleecy one, it's surprisingly comfortable too.
