We had one of those rare moments when the sky is completely overcast, except for low in the western horizon, where the sun was low enough in the sky to illuminate the clouds from below. The clouds looked like a huge, distant roof, as though the atmosphere were all contained inside an open cavern, with light streaming in from behind. The picture doesn't do it justice.
