I heard somewhere Africa is by far the most genetically diverse region on our planet.

Hardly surprising. Everyone with origins outside Africa descend from a few hundred people that crossed the Red Sea. African are descended from the thousands that didn't.

It always amazes me how angular while still looking "chubby" Ugandans look. It's just such a weird mix to me, to have angular and thick lines in the same face.

And I've only ever really noticed it with Ugandans.

I'd certainly believe that Africans are the most genetically diverse of the ethnic groups, too. It's a big continent as well as our home, after all.

I'm caucasian, and I have trouble telling other caucasian people apart, let alone people of other ethnicities.

Looks like I do fine so far. However, there was an occasion when I saw dude of korean origin who attends 9th grade in our lyceum somewhere out in the city with his parents and was confused to ask if it was he because if it wouldn't be he I might be... considered in a negative way  .

I have the very same gender confusion problem as you, Objective. Whenever my head is covered, my luscious, red lips make my face look androgynous at best. Hell, you can look back in this thread, where I first posted two different pictures of myself, and read people's comments.

Long hair will do that to anybody, unless it's especially ratty looking.  When I had long hair, people would mistake me for a girl every single time we went out in public.  It would often persist even after the person would see my stubble or hear my not-feminine voice.

It's the latter, but it can be reasoned out.
Sometimes, silly labels such as that come from where and when you compare yourself to something that doesn't need to be compared to.

Beauty is more rather skin aesthetics than skin deep.
