Nah, black was a big thing during that era, though yeah, sometimes to an overstated degree.

See the thing about black clothes was that Queen Vicky's hubby (Albert) kicked the bucket halfway through her sixty-odd years of rulership, and she spent the entire rest of her life wearing black in mourning for him, and of course all the nobbiest of nobs would wear black to emulate her and mourn with her, which meant all lower class people that wanted to act like nobs would wear black to emulate them... So for a good 30 years or so, black was heavily the fashion.

I needed something to wear - I'm not going to take near-shirtless photos for you guys.

Everyone should do shirtless heavily shirted photos.

I usually don't wear a shirt when I'm on the computer, and there's no freaking way I'd take a picture of myself like that.
I don't even take off my shirt when I'm at something like a water park, where that's normal.

I really dislike the way that my torso looks, because you can see the bottom of my ribs on the sides, but my stomach juts out a bit and looks really weird, which isn't helped by the way my back is sorta pushed forward, so it makes the stomach part of it look like it's sagging down, in a really inhuman looking way.
