I thought I had long hair. I had long luscious red hair flowing down to my shoulder blades. (Kidding, it was terrible, it made me look like a metalhead.)

Nowadays, I have short hair because it's precisely sixty thousand times more easy to maintain.

Nothing wrong with looking like Dave Mustaine.

I can't recall a straight guy ever asking to play with a girl's hair, so it makes sense. (It would be really nice if one did, though)
There is an unspoken law that straight guys must refrain from making personal comments as much as possible, in order to not look like creepy stalkers. Something about the internet being unsafe, I never understood it myself. Point is the usual reaction to most guys saying 'Your hair is adorable, I would love to braid it!' is 'Get away from me you freak!'
Yeah, I would not let a stranger enter my personal space like that. I'd have to be familiar with and comfortable around the guy first.

A lot f people say I have 'long' hair. The idea that men can have hair that goes past their collar just blows the minds of some, so when I have just medium short, it is seen as long. 'Short' would be a buzz cut at the longest.

Baldness actually takes more effort to maintain, but it's worth it because my head no longer feels like it's going to catch fire all the time.  My body has since adjusted to stop ejecting so much heat from my scalp, but for the first couple weeks after I began shaving it, you could feel heat radiating up to 2-3 inches away.

I think it actually looks better, too.  I look less young, but more sophisticated/mature... like someone who might actually be taken seriously once in a while.

Oh... and it's fun to rub.

If bald heads emitted a flammable gas I would be scared. Also, I'm pretty sure Salmon wanted to avoid igniting his head XD

Yeah... my hair actually grows in very thick.  Bald completely by choice.  I was built for colder climates than this.  If I ever live somewhere that doesn't regularly get temperatures in the 95-102 F range 3-4 months out of the year, I'll grow it out again.  I really enjoyed having super long hair.  I always looked goofy with any sort of medium or short-length style, though.

Also, 'bout hair length.

I cut my hair once withing the last 4 or more years and it was horrible. Actually, the easy way to show the history of the hair which rests upon my head(where it belongs!) would be to simple link my facebook: http://www.facebook.com/Ljosapaldr/photos
