I would take a picture of my eye but I haven't got a camera on hand that can do a decent job at it, mostly because my eyes are dark as hell so I'd need some form of aditional light to truly reveal the elder gods that live in my iris.

Mini-Adventures in Cooking, volume Whatever: Yakisoba

Never made a Yakisoba before, but bought some noodles and sauces on a whim. Figured I might as well make something tasty out of it. This one used a few shredded carrots, shredded cabbage, Egyptian walking onion (they're like stronger, smaller shallots), yellow onion, and minced garlic, mixed with some red chili flakes, ginger, salt, and pepper, and sauteed in coconut oil. After it cooked down, I tossed in some cooked and lightly salted buckwheat noodles, splashed it with soy sauce, tonkatsu, oyster sauce, and sriracha, and stir-fried it for a little bit. Once everything was good and glazed, I made a nest in the middle, melted another dollop of coconut oil in it, and fried 2 eggs in the nest, mixing them with the rest when done. Served with a garnish of toasted sesame seeds.

In good news, it's the first time in a while I've been able to tempt a roommate to eat something I made, and she liked it! I've missed having someone to cook for, and I'd like to do it again soon! :3

lastly, I always get a wonderfully odd & out of place picture on the last day of the con. Unfortunately, the wackiest shit I saw was a girl cosplaying as the Mega Milk girl. Pictures were not an option because if she wasn't the mega milk girl, I'd have to explain what the reference was, which i'd rather not do. Also the girl wearing the "minor milk" shirt, which was hilarious.
