I've seen Filipinos characterized a lot like the US characterizes Puerto Ricans - self-assured, aggressive (socially rather than violently, mind you) people that don't take shit from anybody. Don't know how widespread that stereotype is though.

Selfies tend to be more about how well you can edit the pics on photoshop rather than the picture itself, or so the internet tells me :v

I actualy kinda dread increasing contrast on muh pics, since I refuse to allow the true shape of my nose to be known to the world. None shall ever know the arcane geometry of the nose.

I ran yesterday at the gym in a tank top.  I usually never wear something so untoward, and I only own 1.

I did some shoulder work and then ran on my favorite treadmill.  It has a shiney screen so I can see myself as I run, and I usually turn off the tv so I can admire myself while I run.

And I got all sweaty and shiney, and my shoulders and delts were all swoll from the workout.   And I fell in love.

But I don't selfie. It isn't done. I think I might have physical difficulties taking one. And I'm not sure how to rectify this.

Plus, I don't want to bother putting on my full outfit, which is the only real way I could possibly justify putting a picture on the internet of myself that's connected to my typical username.

Yea. For instance, if I posted a picture it would release the antichrist and lead to the eventual death of the world, but I'm fairly certain no one else has that problem.
