Also, Mastah, that's a myth. Hair growth has nothing to do with cutting it, how would that even work?

Theoretically a close shave could stimulate the follicle cells somehow, but I'm pretty sure it doesn't. Doesn't it just change the angle the hairs grow at to make them more visible?

No, hair wears away over time. So the ends become thinner (and thus, lighter/less visible)

So when you shave, there's a brunt tip instead of a wispy tip, and when it grows back in, it looks thicker/longer because there's a thicker end.

I think the idea that it grows back thicker/more if you shave came from parents tellin' their teenage sons to shave because they look awful, and they used it as an excuse. That it actually looks thicker (even if it isn't) just helped the myth get around more.

Back when I first started growing facial hair, I only had to shave about every other month. Now I have to almost weekly, and that's with me being lazy, and I should really shave sooner.
