How do I get the forum to stop showing new replies to threads in "Show new replies to your posts"?

If your talking about what I think your talking about, I think pressing the "Notify" tab again should do it.

If that wasn't what you where talking about, well...

Darn.

Have you tried the "Unsubscribe" button in the Profile/Notifications menu?  I don't know if that clears what you're notified of, but it certainly sounds like it.  Worth a shot.

I want to disable forum notifications, not e-mail notifications; the "Notify" button only starts e-mailing me, and I'm not notified by e-mail, so I can't stop being notified by e-mail. Thanks for the suggestions, though.

I don't think it's possible.  I wish it was: I once posted in that inane "Banned!" forum game, and I am sorely regretting it.

Man I have 5 threads that I keep on getting notified of every 15 minutes or so
This is extremely unfortunate

Er... why'd you post?
because you said that every time I reply to one of your posts you get messaged.
And I can't resist.

You could form an elite team of hackers and security specialists to hack into the Bay12 Forum servers and blow up the offending topics.

Other than that, no clue. I looked all through the the profile tab and found no options that look like they'd effect "Show new replies to your posts" button.

In 2002, a crack hacker unit was banned by a forum moderator for a crime they didn't commit. These men promptly escaped from a permanent ban to the Bay 12 underground. Today, still wanted by the admin, they survive as hackers of fortune. If you have a problem, if no one else can help, and if you can find them, maybe you can hire the D-Team.

Or just ask that the Banned! game be locked and a part two started?

Depending on the generosity of the creator of that game, it might solve your problem.

That could work, but it doesn't help people with lots of threads they get notified of...

Also, it's slightly extremely selfish.
