Well, if she's a legendary shield user, and you equip her in full steel* plate and a steel* shield (all masterwork, of course), and dump the hammerer's hammer... she could live.

*Or "better," if you spoiler my meaning.

Very low indeed. Though if you dumped the hammerer's warhammer and decked her out in masterwork steel plate, with her as superdwarvenly tough and him with no stats whatsoever... she might.

You could replace the hammerer (if possible) a few strikes in so she can rest up.
Or you could lock him in a room and throw some food in every once in a while.

I highly doubt she will survive it. And she shouldn't either. She is a criminaly and by rights the Dwarven Justice System will punish her for the horrible acts she committed!!

You could devise a spike trap or some other interference to make the large amount of hammerings into a set of less dangerous strikes...

Or line the place with cage traps. If I'm not mistaken, the hammerer should beat the woman unconscious, she should be trapped, and the hammerer will cease to beat her.
