Due to a misplaced or missing tag, wrinkles appear on dwarves' brains, lungs, and other internal organs.

When Dwarf Fortress gives you lemons, you mod them to have [DAMBLOCK:80][FLIER][FIREBREATH].

The brain already has 'wrinkles', which are the convultions you see on the surface of the brain.

How about this one:

In the proccess of removing the new stairs you can build downwards, the dwarf starts removal from the bottom (as they usually do) rather than from above, resulting in the dwarf falling into whatever space the stairs are hanging into.

I have another one, a forgotten beast or titan with the aquatic tag ends up on land and thus airdrowning.

Metal creatures become infinite sources of metal globs, and thus metal.

If you have a strong enough metallic opponent that you can bleed it out every once in a while without causing permanent harm, this might (to some degree) be true.

Oh dear.
And though the process would be tedious at first, it would only be a matter of time before someone finds a way to make it efficient and possibly automated.

Once again I find myself unable to wait for the next version.

I can imagine how it will be done, find the weakest material in the game, probably a light wood or something, then create a small containment room ideally, create spike traps, link to a repeater, instant glob money, unless it only lands where the critter was standing, though, taming for the sake of dwarven safety is a must I imagine, unless you heard it from room to room.

Fiery critters seal all physical cuts they make.

This already happens in 40d if you build such a "downward staircase" using a scaffold and then try to remove the bottom block - they'll remove it while standing on it and will fall down.

Doctor prescribes head amputation due to rotting eye wound.

I could totally see this happening. Naturally, it would be awesome.

Here's a few more:
* Soldier ordered to kill unit begins attacking self if unit dies on its own.
* Beards grow on internal organs rather than only the face.

[edit - clarified comment about stairs]

It's amazing how dwarves can make a stack of bones completely waterproof and magmaproof.
It's amazing how they can make an entire floodgate out of the bones of 2 cats.

Thats called cauterizing.....

That may or may not be a bug depending on the circumstances.

A titan/forgotten one which is made of a liquid fails to retain its shape and thus dies and leaves a big mess.

@Quietust: Yea, but since we can now actually build downwards as in a string of stairs extending downwards, so yea it would make sense to be smart about it, but these are dwarves we are talking about here, so....

Actually, my comment was meant to be that the "buggy behavior" already happens in 40d, not that such behavior would be introduced in the next version.

Bug: if a dwarf is unassigned the doctor labor while a dwarf is wearing a cast, the cast is never removed, causing the dwarf to walk around emitting miasma from his foul appendage wherever he goes. Incidentally, the stench will scare away vermin, goblins, kobolds, pets, other dwarves,

Doctors trying to ampute themselves fail constantly falling uncouncious in pain, losing abundant litres of blood in the process, going on endlessly if the dwarf is though enough.

Geez, I'm already imagining a metal farm. It can go right next to the puppy mill and merman breeding area! :D

Hey, I'm cool with you tying a dog up and shooting it with a ballista if you're short on elves, but there's not need to lie about it to us.

Don't forget GCS silk farm.
And GCS venom farm, if venom can spill from a wound and be collected.

I wonder how the gore damage from whips will work in the new system. I wonder what effects adamantine will have on them?

The goblin lashers with iron scourges can suddenly pierce through your dwarves' rib cages and simultaneously tear off their arms.

Dwarves with casts and crutches will move faster than dwarves without casts or crutches once they gain enough skill in movement.
Beards, eyes will grow wrinkles.
At least one common reaction will require non-existent materials.
Large sections of the underground will be full of magma on maps with magma pipes.
Some magma pipes will empty due to being connected to the underground.
Pets will throw parties. (not a bug)
Ramps in rivers will occasionally cause collapse of adjacent terrain.
Saving a fortress, entering an arena then re-entering the fortress will cause the creatures in the arena to appear in the fortress.
Guards will use soldiers as replacements in the middle of battles. Soldiers will occasionally use wardogs as replacements. The wardogs will not get hungry or tired, so the military will be composed of entirely dogs.
Dwarves using their favored weapon will be unhappy, rather than happy.
Masterwork blunt weapons made from steel will almost always destroy every organ in a creature.
Dwarves will die if their beard is torn off. (not a bug)
Creatures made of steel, etc will have rotting wounds when injured.
